I guess we’ll find out who is under the mask in an upcoming Savage Dragon book – at least that is what these two teaser images from Image Comics lead us to believe.

Who is Overlord? Maybe it’s Skaar. He’s coming y’know
Tom: Brilliant deduction my friend. I hear he and Savage Dragon are going to come to blows over who had Obama on their comic book cover first.
It’s not that hard to put together, folks. O-verlord. O-bama. Seriously. His buddy-buddy relationship with the Dragon was just a ploy to lull him into complacency.
Judging from the style in which he’s rendered in that promo, I’m thinking Overlord is John Byrne.
Or maybe not…
The second piece looks as though Dragon himself is the Overlord. That certainly looks like his profile, and the shadows sort of imply his fin.
Daddy, why is Iron Man beating on Savage Dragon?
