I feel like I have to state this before I ask my question: I don’t read solicits/advance orders/whatevers. I get my comics as I sees ‘em. Now, here’s my question. So is this what they are doing for a “weekly” when Trinity finishes? 52->Countdown->Trinity->Wednesday Comics?
No i think they will overlap, despite the name its not as much the schedule thats the groudnbreaking thing but rather the creator freedom and format. I think it looks too have great potential.
Kudos to DC and Dan Didio for coming up with this idea. They take a lot crap on the internet for some of their decisions, but don’t get enough praise when they come up with something good.
A weekly format is the perfect way to publish an anthology book. Hopefully this will bring in some new readers to DC. I have a few friends who are interested in comics, and I’ve already suggested this series to them.
The FINAL CRISIS: AFTERMATH minis are essentially the “weekly” books for now. Presumably, WEDNESDAY COMICS will be ready to go once those books run their respective courses.
