Dark Reign and the Marvel Noir events have been doing quite well for Marvel, as the company announced three of its titles have sold out at the distributor level.  The first is X-Men Noir #3, featuring the team of Fred Van Lente and Dennnis Calero.  While Marvel says it has no plans to go back to press on this issue, the company’s record for reprints indicates you’ll see something eventually.

Two titles that are going back to press include Invincible Iron Man #10 by Matt Fraction and Salvador Larroca, that features Tony Stark on the run the gov’ment.  The second printing features a variant cover from the interior artwork.

The $2.99 issue arrives March 11, 2009.

The other title is Black Panther #1, which features the female version of Black Panther on the cover, but not on the inside.  The second printing of this issue features the art we’ve seen during the “Who is Black Panther?” campaign.

The female Iron Man suit looks like DC’s Steel (when his neice Natasha Irons held the role).

Would an Iron Maiden need breasts like that? I can understand her having a breastplate area molded with enough room for breasts. But two distinct metal ta-tas is a bit juvenile.

  • Izaak:

Actually I agree. One of the main points of having armor is to reduce surface area and deflect blows, so yeah, counter intuative. At least she doesn’t have a bare midriff.

We are talking about Tony stark. Of COURSE he is a bit juvenile. He enjoys female anatomy as much as the next playboy. It makes perfect sense.
