Kaare Andrews’s chilling look into Spider-Man’s future has left fans amazed at the sight of a feeble and aged Peter Parker forced back into the mantle of Spider-Man and the conclusion in issue #4 is one that can’t be missed.

See why Venom has gone to such great lengths to lure Spider-man out. Can an elderly Spider-man defeat the vicious and sinister symbiote? Or will another hero have to step up to save the city?

I ADORE Kaare Andrew’s Scorpion. The Tail is kick-arse. Yes, I said ARSE.

This series si spectacular…I really would liek to see this very issue reviewed.

  2. Matthew Peterson Says:

I haven’t been picking this one up, as the first issue put me off with it’s slavish devotion to aping Dark Knight…

Stephen, have you been reading it?

  3. Salieri Says:

Trust me, Issue 3 leaves that all behind and makes it into its own book.

  4. Stephen Schleicher Says:

Matt: I haven’t been reading it either for the reason you cite.
Looks to be a trippy series though, especially after the revelation that Peter Parkers radioactive sperm killed Mary Jane…

  5. Matthew Peterson Says:

Okay, then. My friend Sarah is buying it, I’ll see about borrowing her copies and putting something together…

It’s well-liked enough to sell out all three issues so far, but will popularity equal a good review?

Stay tuned, same Spoiler time! Same Spoiler channel!

I haven’t picked up on Reign yet … is it worth it?

  7. Salieri Says:

For Kaare Andrews art, definetly. He does sucha wide range of emotions: ‘Defiant-Angry!’ ‘Shocked-Bewildered!’ ‘Desperate-Relieved!’. And that Scorpion Costume is just, just totally, just totally wow.
