What’s it like going down in history as the man who killed Batman?
MORRISON: It’s great! At last! I feel like John Wilkes Booth. It’s fantastic.

Grant Morrison = John Wilkes Both, I think that is a fair comparison.

I think it is safe to say Batman is not dead. The Omega Sanction does not kill does it?

  • Rodrigo:

Batman’s not any more dead than Rock n’ Roll, Musicalls or ‘talkies’

  • hermit:

so, batman is finally dead. now they can release the TPB so i can read the stupid story once and for all.

btw, was it in the main batman series or in final crisis???

  • Ok:

Of course not dead. They’re rebooting the multiverse. meaning a million different bruce waynes…

  • hermit: Final Crisis… so don’t expect a trade that features the death of Batman.

  • hermit:

well, i’ll buy the final crisis trade then. i just want to read how he bites it, before he come back.

i guess they’ll do it like captain america, one of the old sidekicks will take the cape and be crazy… i mean, protect gotham.

  • Ricco:

They said “a faith worse then death” my guess is like the original Supergirl (which died in Crisis on Infinite Earths, where she was erased from the continuity after the reboot) the universe will be rebooted without anyone knowing how he actually died, people will mourn him but have no idea what he accomplished in his last moments.

Just like Supergirl who died saving Superman yet no one knows this after the reboot, Batman will have died killing (or weakening to the point were the Flashes can take him out) Darkside with no one remembering this.
